Found the perfect section? Hit the Record button next to any song. Your browser will ask for permission to capture audio from your tab. Select "Share this tab's audio" when prompted. The recorder captures audio playing from the embedded player in real-time. Press Record to start, and Stop when you've captured the section you want.

CHOP 🎯

Use the waveform editor to trim and select the exact section you want. The visual waveform shows your recording—click and drag to mark your start and end points to isolate the perfect sample. This is where the magic happens!

Export your chop as WAV (lossless quality) or MP3 (compressed). Download directly to your device and import into your DAW immediately.

Tab Audio capture isn't available on mobile devices, but you can still chop samples using your microphone!

1. FIND YOUR SONG Browse the library and tap on a song to open the preview player.
2. OPEN THE RECORDER Tap "SHOW RECORDER" to reveal the recording tool. On mobile, you'll see the Microphone option only.
3. TURN UP THE VOLUME Play the song preview at full volume from your phone speakers (or connect to external speakers for best quality).
4. RECORD WITH MIC Tap "Start Recording" and allow microphone access when prompted. Your phone will record the audio playing from the speakers.
5. TRIM AND DOWNLOAD Use the waveform editor to select your sample, then download as WAV or MP3 directly to your phone.
📱 MOBILE RECORDING TIPS:
  • MAX VOLUME – Turn phone speaker to 100%
  • GET CLOSE – Hold phone 2-3 inches from speaker
